USB Mouse Hack
This is an interesting mod I found at i-hacked.com. This guy hacked a USB hub and his mouse to have an extra USB port at his fingertips. The idea is pretty creative and simple. Also, it got me thinking. Where else could one use an extra USB port?

Another cool mod to the mouse is the 5mm Blue LED I swapped out the red on for.
Works great at the college computer lab as the computers there have no USB ports on the front side of the computer and on the back the monitor cable makes it impossible to plug a flash drive directly into the computer.
I was already bringing a mouse to school because the “ball” mice they have there suck, so I figured I’d go for the “all in one” and mod a usb hub directly into the mouse.

Hey J, if you do any other mods, be sure to let me know and I’ll post it up here in no time. Thats a cool idea with changing out the blue for red LEDs. Blue is just so much cooler i think.

some usb ports in the keyboard should come in handy…. if only i had a usb KB….
