Mentos + Coke = an amazing fountain of Soda

cola
With a little chemistry you can do just about anything - including making a giant fountain like explosion using only mints and some cola. Now, I’m not stocking up on two liter Pepsi’s at the moment, but if I happen to have some cola, a handfull of Altoids, and some reason to make a mess, you bet I’ll try this out.

Homebrew USB Knob

knob

A really cool computer peripheral. This is a really creative mod that has many possibilities. Scroll through your playlist or simply adjust the volume - in style!

Time Machine For Sale

Filed under: weird, sci-fi — leadingzero

time
While I would love to be able to travel in time, and hope that maybe one day it will actually be possible (maybe), I don’t think this will be the machine to take you there. However, it is certainly an interesting invention to note on a hacking/modding/inventing website right? right!?…
From Future Horizons: “The machine seems to induce out of body experiences in most users almost immediately. When out of your body it is possible to travel in time and space with your astral body and witness or experience events in time.”
