Well, it looks like someone got in trouble for posting the powerglove scene from “The Wizard” on Google Video, because after I linked to it a few weeks ago it has been taken off the Google servers. So, until I can find another clip to download from the internets I give you this original commercial circa 1989. Don’t worry, it’s still totally retrocool and totally lame at the same time, even if there is no Fred Savage.

Actually, I remember being really excited about the powerglove when it came out. However as soon as I started playing with it I felt really let down. The controls were awkward, the playability was lame and it didn’t even come close to working like the commercial said. At least it still looks really cool.
