Multi-input Touch Screen


This is the future ladies and gentlemen. I don’t really have much information on this, but I’m going to go ahead and use my powers of assumption and state that this will be what we all will be using 6 months from now. Murder will be non-existent and Tom Cruise will be the world’s foremost police officer. Seriously, this blows my PowerGlove out of the water. After two days, my hack is already outdated :(

  2. isnt it just the software that recognises multiple inputs?
    there are several projects to utilise multiple mice with windows XP, for example http://cpnmouse.sourceforge.net
    agreed, its no touchscreen, but tom cruise didnt have one either, did he? ;)
    using two P5 Gloves or similar devices, one could easily refilm that picture scene (by “one”, I certainly dont mean myself, I am only to a really really small degree a programmer >.>)

    I have never heard of that program to allow two mice on a system before. I’ll check it out.

  4. Yeah, that’s pretty much the coolest thing I’ve seen all day. I can see a lot of potential interface pitfalls, but it would be fun to explore where that could go.

  17. I cannot completely commit to Camp 1 as I do think there are times, and situations, where users have to take responsibility for their own choices. For example, if someone choses to remain on dialup when higher speed connections are available, and within their reach, I do not think I should be obliged to design with their free choice in mind. If they choose to stay with an older browser rather than upgrade, why should I have to take that into account?   95. My only real problem with google analytics is that it doesn’t work very well with a lot of ASP pages, which a lot of clients use nowadays. It can also get kind of hairy when trying to get it to understand what a conversion is. :D Instead of just any click, it needs to be one specific click haha.
