  3. I had a copy of Windows 1.0 that I didn’t pay a cent for. I forget how I got it at the time but suffice to say it was a half baked product. Didn’t touch windows again until 3.11 and even then, who knew.

    Win95 was the first true departure. Win98 was a stabilized Win95, WinME was a joke.
