About Zerosign.net

Filed under: tech news — leadingzero

“What is this site?”
- Zerosign.net is a site for geeks. Zerosign covers DIY projects, emerging technology, and life in the geek culture. Tech, Sci-fi, and Gaming all fall under the geek umbrella that is Zerosign.

“Who runs this site?”

- Despite several references to “we” in prior posts, this site is designed, written, and published by Brandon Morgado.

“Who is Brandon Morgado?”
-Brandon is a computer engineering graduate of Auburn University. He has always had a fascination with various things of a geeky nature. He likes the 1980’s, Sci-fi movies (new and old), electronics, robots, taking stuff apart and sometimes putting said stuff back together again to make it better/something completely different. Brandon has been a Christian since 1999 and takes his faith pretty seriously. He is now 23 years old, married to the beautiful Alice and lives in Birmingham, AL. He currently works in a cubicle.

“Why did he refer to ‘we’ in prior posts?”
-Brandon was always opposed to the idea of having a personal weblog. What he wanted was a place to showcase the weird things he put together. However, somewhere along the way people started reading about those weird things and Brandon liked it. His ego grew and grew until he decided to write this page telling everyone all about him. He referred to ‘we’ in prior posts because he thought it gave the site more credibility if readers thought that a whole team was behind this site. Brandon now thinks that idea was silly. He now prefers writing about himself in the third-person instead.

“So the projects and articles posted on this site, they were all done by this Brandon guy?”
-that’s correct. The projects were all thought up and designed by him unless otherwise noted. The articles were also written by him. You can tell due to the poor quality of the writing.

“Are there more projects coming?”
-of course! Brandon always has something he is working on. The idea is that the coolness and professionalism will increase with each new project.

“What recognition has Zerosign.net gotten lately?”
-Zerosign.net has been on the front page of Digg.com 4 5 6 7 times. Some of the projects have also been featured on BoingBoing, Engadget, Gizmodo, Hack a day, Make and various other blogs. One of the projects made it to the tech page of USA Today and the home page of AOL for a few hours.

Feel free to browse the site and check out all the geeky content. If you like what you see, why not subscribe to get all the updates right to your feedreader. Enjoy!
